Omez Tablet for Acidity

Omez tablet is used for the treatment of Acidity which is caused due to backward flow of stomach acid into the esophagus – the tube that connects the throat to the stomach. This backward flow becomes possible when the sphincter muscle at the lower end of your esophagus is weak.

Omez is available as 10mg, 20mg, 40 mg and 60mg capsules. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. It helps relieve acid reflux, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori, heartburn, ulcers and gastritis. Helicobacter pylori are bacteria responsible for the production of acid in the body.
