Omez tablet reduces the acidity in stomach. Omez helps relieve in acid reflux, duodenal ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), duodenal ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori, heartburn, ulcers and gastritis.
Omez work by counteracting (neutralising) the acid in your stomach that is used to aid digestion. This can reduce the symptoms of heartburn and relieve pain.
Omez 20mg is preferred for Acid reflux, duodenal ulcer, Erosion of esophagus. Where as, Omez 40mg is recommended for Gastric ulcers, and Heartburn.
Omez is also available in the form of capsules with the dosage of 10mg, 20mg, and 40mg
Over dosage may cause certain side effects like headaches, insomnia, diarrhoea, nausea and abdominal pain.
