What is the difference between OMEZ( Omeprazole) & Zinetac( Ranitidine) for GERD?

‘Gastro-esophageal reflux disease’ (GERD). This is where acid from the stomach escapes into the gullet (the tube which connects your throat to your stomach) causing pain, inflammation and heartburn.

OMEZ is better than ranitidine for GERD.

Why OMEZ:

OMEZ acts by inhibiting the final acid production & thereby gives relief in hyperacidity problems.

Omeprazole in OMEZ is indicated for the treatment of heartburn and other symptoms associated with gastroesophageal reflux disease. Omeprazole is indicated for the short-term treatment of erosive esophagitis (associated with GERD) that has been diagnosed by endoscopy. Omeprazole also is indicated to maintain healing of erosive esophagitis.
